Anabolic Steroids and Aggression

Anabolic steroids have a long history of usage and they’ve been used in some medical treatments, they have many dangerous side effects that also have a long history of persistence. They are not harmless, and even the process of making steroids has changed so the side effects can’t be erased.

Behavior and steroids
Steroids can be useful to some athletes when they take them in reasonable amounts. This means that they shouldn’t take more than the prescribed volume. Many of them think that the results will be better if they take more steroids, but the truth is that, after some point, the increasing usage of steroids has no effect.

Many studies have been done to prove that steroids, beside physical and medical consequences, can have some serious impact on behavior. Increased violence is something that is noticeable within steroids users, especially with the teenagers, who are not well informed and aware of all possible consequences of steroids usage.

Aggression and previous users of steroids
Different studies tried to find out patterns in steroid usage and the level of aggression. Some previous users of steroids have been included in some studies, and they reported increased violence and rage. They have committed different types of aggressive acts. The most usual was fighting with someone else and vandalism, but in some situations this went too far, and the steroids users reported even armed robbery, burglary or theft. These are some extreme situations that lead scientist to research the connection between anabolic steroids and aggression.

Aggression is potentially really dangerous, because it manifests on others, it’s not only about the steroid user anymore, now the people around him are in danger. When we talk about medical consequences of using the anabolic steroids, the person who is taking them is the one who is responsible for the issues it can have. But aggression is something that will harm not only the user, but also his/her family, friends and even the complete strangers.

Do all anabolic steroids cause aggression and violence?
There haven’t been detailed studies about the connection between anabolic steroid usage and aggression, but the ones that have been done can be sufficient to show some patterns. Of course, as time passes by and more studies are done, the conclusions will be more reliable. Studies done by now show that the end result is not always the same.

Sometimes the anabolic steroids do cause increased aggression, but sometimes they don’t have that effect. But this depends on the type of steroid that was used. Which steroids can cause aggression and which don’t is not yet determined, because steroids are never used individually, and one cycle always includes a combination of different steroids (in order to get maximum results). Time is needed to distinguish which steroid has a potential of increased aggression and violence and which does not. But, for now, aggression and violence are not included in the list of side effects caused by steroids, because they are not well examined.

What is the Highest Steroid Dosage the Body Can Actually Use?

The manner in which one decides to use their steroid goes a long in determining just how effective they are at the end of the day. There have been cases of bodybuilders claiming to have unresponsive androgen receptors. Such cases normally come about as a result of poor steroid doses. By taking in excess steroids, they get to overload the receptors hence leading to their unresponsive nature. Either way, different people have different bodies. The effect tends to be varying from one person to the other; or rather the extent of the effect. However, there is a certain whereby the ‘returns’ tend to start ‘diminishing’ for all individuals. In other words, there is a certain limit that nobody can withstand.

So, what is the highest steroid dosage possible?
The concept behind taking any drug whatsoever is that its effect gets to grow the more one takes the drug. In addition to this, the initial dosage should be little. One starts small and gradually grows into taking heavier doses. There is however a very hard line that can bring about to which extent exactly does the drug’s effect hit maximum. As a matter of fact, previous research has not been all that successful with poor data being the main cause for this. There has not been any clear conclusion as to what extent defines the maximum steroid dosage possible. There have been however a lot of success with the same research for other kinds of drugs. Anabolic steroids as well as testosterone however have not been established with regards to their maximum limit.

Forbes came up with the closest findings as to what is the maximum steroid dosage for the normal human being. He performed s series of scientific research tests concerned with the response and dosage of anabolic steroids. According to the results, about 4 grams on a weekly basis is just about 100% the effect. This translates into about 0.6 grams on a daily basis. According to Forbes, anything above that dosage will be more than is required to the body and might have some adverse effects. In other words, this is the highest limit possible when it comes to steroid dosages. All in all, Forbes made it clear that his finding were just but an approximation. Nothing concrete came from the research.

Generally speaking:
The effect of various steroid dosages will vary from one bodybuilder to the other. There are those with higher drug sensitivity than the rest. For such individuals, their maximum dosage will be way lower than the rest. The regular bodybuilder with regular body functions should take a dosage of 2 grams weekly for their near-maximal effect of testosterone. This should be the best approximation for the maximum dosage of the drugs. However, for those with lower drug sensitivity should have an even lower dosage of testosterone. By taking the same dosage of 2 grams weekly, such individuals will be overdosing on the drug and risk facing adverse effects.

On the other hand, it is important to note that the fact that since 2 grams weekly is said to give the near-maximum effect, this does not mean that half that dose will give half the effect. Taking 1 gram weekly would means the individual will look for ways to maintain the same homeostasis levels in his body. This means upping their nutrition schedule as well as training program. The only notable difference that might come about as a result of using half the dose would be a couple of muscle mass pounds.

“Pregnant bodybuilders” or why bodybuilders do have big guts?

If you are a bodybuilders and time from time watch bodybuilding competitions you have certainly noticed that some of competitors have large guts, looking totally anesthetic. Large shoulders, big legs, amazing amounts of muscle mass, but waist is really large and stomach looks distended.

What is the cause for this? Are steroids the ones to be blamed? What is known for well is that “distended gut” became a problem, so that IFBB  (International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness) took action and changed judging criteria, putting more accent on thinner waists, V-shape and overall balanced bodies.

What cause bodybuilders look like 8 months pregnancy?

Bodybuilders like Schwarzenegger never come up on competitions with any belly at all. And this is not because back in days bodybuilders were not taking steroids. They also administrated different types of gears but somehow they skipped big gut effect.

Here are the reasons:

1. The massive use of HGH, IGF-1 and insulin

These drugs were not created yet. Schwarzenegger’ pears used traditional steroids in quite moderate dosage. This cannot be said about nowadays steroids users.

Along with the introduction of these drugs, the tendency to take more for bigger results came a normal. What people miss out or just are ignoring are the side effects of HGH abuse.

-Increase in size of internal organs (liver, stomach, pancreas, colon, and others);

-Diabetes, high blood pressure and vascular diseases;

-Atypical growth of hands and feet, and quite probably face too.

A very good article published on The guardian” The dangers of human growth hormones” presents real people who faced HGH side effects. Really worth reading.

2. Eating elephant amounts of food

The habit to eat extra large amounts of food during every meal over years may turn into that big gut. Indeed, you have to eat more to gain weight, but in some people this may turn in larger stomach.

Having more than 6 meals a day in enormous quantity force just pushes your muscle outward instead of inwards. Suffering of bloating just worsens the situation.

What to do? Try to eat as much as you need to be higher than your maintenance level for gaining weight, but do not exaggerate with portions and number of meals. Also, eating clean helps a lot.

3. Lifting hard in the gym

The reason for hard lifting to cause big belly consist in the pressure you put on your abs muscle when lifting weights and the trying to stabilize the core. Usually, you push the outwards in order to keep balance, and so they weaken.

The solution is not to avoid such exercises as deadlifts, squats or bench presses since they are the basic of an bodybuilding workout. More productive would be to pull your belly when lift weights. As a powerlifter you can ignore these tips, but as a bodybuilder you have to apply it.

4. Genetics

You are born with a handful of body features you cannot change in spite of all your efforts. You have no control at all over you body type or bone and you have to take them as they are.

There are balanced bodies, but many people have long legs and short torso or vice versa. Individuals with shorter torso are more prone to develop distension, especially if you add to the equation the above mentioned causes.

Deca Durabolin and recovery of testosterone production

Do you know Deca Durabolin is also known as Nandrolone Decanoate? Yes, it is an inject-able anabolic steroid. It is the most common and popular form of Nandrolone. Due to the attachment of the Decanoate to the Nandrolone the release times as well as the half life of the steroid can be spread out for more convenience in injections.

While at first, it saw many medical uses, the modern FDA cut back its uses to treating anemic patients, HIV/AIDS patients, and any others who were losing muscle mass due to their condition. It is still widely available in the US, despite cessations and bans of many other steroids.

The Benefits of Taking Deca Durabolin

Deca Durabolin is considered mild in comparison to other anabolic steroids on the issue of side effects. Watch this video to see Deca benefits over one of the most powerful steroids- Tren. Over years of studies, it does not seem to exhibit the same rate of the usual side effects everyone associates with steroids, such as hair loss, aggression, and increases in blood pressure and severe changes in lipids, kidney functions and liver values. This makes it a very popular choice for many steroid users. Despite its popularity for the lack of side effects, it has one major drawback.

Deca Durabolin and recovery of testosterone productionDeca Dick: The Side Effect that Really Matters

One of the well known side effects of steroid use is an effect on testosterone levels. Different types of steroids result in different levels of decrease in production of testosterone. Deca Durabolin is one of the most powerful steroids in use, and thus it creates a serious and noticeable decrease in testosterone levels.

“Deca Dick” has become commonly used slang to describe those on the steroid with Erectile Dysfunction. It is a hot topic in every forum and unfortunately for Deca Durabolin users, not only is it incredibly potent, but also has a higher recovery time for the user to recover to regular testosterone levels.

Is there more to low testosterone than just ED?

Most people know that lower testosterone levels will decrease a man’s libido. But there are a number of other risks and side effects of low testosterone levels that are often forgotten in the wake of erectile dysfunction. Some of these side effects include increased body fat, fragile bones, swelling and tenderness of breast tissue, hot flashes, and increased fatigue.

It can also affect sleep cycles and cause depression. These issues, which could develop into more serious problems, should be kept in mind along with ED when considering the benefits of Post Cycle Therapy.

The Benefits and Importance of Post Cycle Therapy (PCT)

Post Cycle Therapy can be crucial to increasing testosterone levels at a more desirable rate. PCT is much more than just recovering testosterone. PCT helps to keep your entire endocrine system healthy. In the early days of steroids in the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s not much was known about their effects on the endocrine system. It wasn’t until the 80’s or 90’s that doctors and scientists realized the extent to which steroids affected the Hypothalamic Pituitary Testicular Axis (HPTA). PCT was born out of this revelation, and has been encouraged ever since.

The Results of Skipping PCT

While a body can usually rebalance itself in 1 to 4 months that could be counteractive to the benefits of the steroid cycle it as the imbalance has enough time to affect the body in multiple ways. Decreasing the time it takes the body to regain testosterone levels (which can be as low as 75% decrease in Deca Durabolin users) can ensure the health of the endocrine system as well as the avoidance of other symptoms that come with below average testosterone levels.

Conclusion

Deca can indeed cause you huge muscle growth, but wrong use can also lead to serious side effects. In order to stay safe and enjoy great results, educate yourself about Deca proper usage, side effects, stacks, recommendations and things to avoid.  PCT is just one of them and play a big role.

How Testosterone Levels Affect Muscle Growth and Fat Loss

Higher testosterone levels are often equated with more muscle growth and fat loss. Is it that simple?

If you ask the average gymgoer what single physical factor most affects muscle growth and fat loss, they would probably answer “testosterone levels.” And they’re right.

Testosterone is certainly a primary hormonal driver of muscle growth. Research has shown that anabolic steroids, which drastically raise testosterone levels, given to even young, healthy men can induce muscle growth and fat loss without any exercise whatsoever.

Thus, it would be fair to assume that the higher our testosterone levels are, the more muscle we build and the leaner we get, right?

Testosterone Levels and Muscle Growth

We already know that dramatically elevating testosterone levels induces muscle growth.

Yes, if you take enough of the right steroids, your testosterone levels will skyrocket, and if you lift weights regularly, you will be able to achieve more muscle growth than if you were drug-free.

But here’s something that most people don’t know:

Fluctuation of testosterone levels within the physiological normal range does not affect muscle growth.

That is, if your testosterone levels are right-down-the-middle normal, and you increase them to a high-normal, you may feel a little better and notice a boost in libido…but it won’t enable you to build more muscle.

I know that sounds kind of blasphemous, but it’s actually been scientifically proven.

Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science conducted and published a study about a decade ago wherein they administered varying amounts of  testosterone enanthate along with drugs to inhibit natural testosterone production to young, healthy men for 20 weeks.

While higher testosterone levels did produce greater muscle gains, it wasn’t as pronounced as you might think.

What researchers found was that so long as testosterone levels were within the physiological normal range, between 300-1,000 ng/dl, muscle growth didn’t change very much. That is, the subjects on the low end of normal weren’t that far behind subjects on the high end in terms of muscle growth.

A statistically significant increase in muscle growth wasn’t seen until testosterone levels surpassed the top of “normal” by about 20-30%.

Now, this study does have a limitation: subjects weren’t exercising. While total amounts of muscle and strength gained would clearly have been higher if they had been weightlifting, the relationship between testosterone levels and overall muscle growth would still be seen.

This was partially demonstrated by another study, this time conducted by McMaster University with young, resistance trained men.

Subjects lifted 5 times per week for 12 weeks, and followed a standard dietary protocol (high-protein intake, post-workout nutrition, etc.). The primary finding of the study was that the exercise-induced spikes in anabolic hormones like testosterone, growth hormone, and IGF-1, which all remained within physiological normal ranges, had no effect on overall muscle growth and strength gains.

That is, all subjects made gains in muscle, but the variations in the size of the hormone spikes among them had no bearing on the results.

The key takeaway here is not that you should take steroids, but that things you can do to naturally raise your testosterone levels are unlikely to affect your muscle growth.

And speaking of steroids, the above findings are in line with steroid research as well.

For instance, researchers at Maastricht University conducted an extensive review of literature related to the use of anabolic steroids and found that the muscle gains in people engaging in resistance training while on anabolic steroids mostly ranged between 2-5 kg (4.5-11 pounds) over the short term (less than 10 weeks). The largest amount of muscle growth researchers found was 7 kg (15.5 pounds) over 6 weeks of weightlifting while on steroids.

The point is this:

Even steroids don’t always dramatically increase the amount of muscle you can build (it depends what you take, in what dosages, and for how long), so what does that tell us about how fluctuations of testosterone in the normal physiological range relate to muscle growth?

As I talk about in my article on the best supplements for muscle growth, this is why buying natural testosterone boosters for muscle growth purposes is a complete waste of money. Even if they work (and most don’t), it’s just not going to help you build more muscle.

The only exception might be someone whose testosterone is at the absolute bottom of the physiologically normal range, or even below that, and who is then able to naturally increase it to the top of the range. That person would probably notice an improvement in muscle growth, not to mention overall well-being, libido, cognitive function, and so forth.

Now, I’m not saying that there’s no reason to do anything to naturally improve your testosterone levels. Improving muscle growth just isn’t on the list. Losing fat, however, is…
Testosterone Levels and Fat Loss

Unlike muscle growth, researchersat the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science did find that fluctuations of testosterone within the physiological normal range had significant effects on body fat percentage.

The higher the testosterone levels, the leaner subjects were. And conversely, the lower the testosterone levels, the fatter they were. When researchers decreased certain subjects’ testosterone levels from the baseline average of 600 ng/dl to around 300 ng/dl, they saw a dramatic 36% increase in fat mass.

Although the exact mechanisms behind this aren’t fully understood just yet, research has show that testosterone directly inhibits the creation of fat cells and that low testosterone is a contributing factor to obesity.

Increase Testosterone

It’s no secret, if you’re an athlete, a gym rat or someone who simply wants to look a little better the higher you can increase testosterone the better off you’ll be; after all, testosterone is the primary anabolic hormone. When we’re trying to increase testosterone the first thing that often comes to mind is anabolic steroids, as this is one of the primary roles but there are actually many things we can do to increase testosterone besides regular injections. Make no mistake, if one needs or desires to increase testosterone anabolic steroids will always be best in-terms of ability, nothing else will come close but we can naturally provide small incremental increases if we follow certain principles. However, in the grand scheme of things, while these applications will prove to be useful where they really shine is aiding in staving off low testosterone; no, it is no guarantee but in greatly improves your odds.
Increase Testosterone with Food:

You’ve heard the old saying, “nothing is more anabolic than food” and that’s quite true; when it comes to growth and performance nothing on earth can beat or replace food. In that light there are certain foods that have been shown to have a positive effect on our natural testosterone levels and many studies have indicated that individuals who consume diets rich in these foods often increase testosterone production. The same can be said in the opposite direction; certain foods have been shown to have the opposite effect and if you’re trying to increase testosterone or at least maintain it they will be the foods you want to avoid.

For the individual who is a vegetarian this next part is probably going to be some pretty sad news; if you’re looking to increase testosterone through the foods you eat you’re not going to be able to do it through a vegetarian style diet. No, meats are not the only foods that will increase testosterone but things such as red meat and eggs are our primary increasing tools. The best foods for increasing natural testosterone production include:

    Red Meat
    Whole Eggs
    Pork
    Salmon
    Nuts & Legumes
    Broccoli (in addition, not alone)
    Cabbage (in addition, not alone)
    Cauliflower (in addition, not alone)

From looking at the list you may be a little concerned with cholesterol, especially when we consider red meat and whole eggs to be our two primary food sources. Do not let your heart fret, the idea of these foods being unfriendly to cholesterol levels has long since passed and neither will increase LDL levels; assuming you’re not covering your steak and eggs with oils, butter, massive amounts of cheese, etc.

The next step is going to be to avoid certain foods; no, we want list these out or you’d be reading for the next three and a half weeks but we can give you a pretty good idea. Saturated fat has been proven to be something you need to increase testosterone but it needs to come from the right sources such as the ones above; the saturated fat you’re getting at your favorite fast food chain is not such a fat. Further, processed foods in general have been shown to be horrific on how they affect testosterone production so the moral of the story is simple; don’t eat out so much and stay away from processed food; it’s really that simple and there’s not much more to say.
Lifestyle Choices:

There are three major factors beyond food that can greatly affect our testosterone levels; our physical activity level, stress and alcohol consumption, the most important being physical activity. Men who are more active than other men naturally maintain higher levels of testosterone and it has been shown that physical exercise, most notably weight training greatly boost testosterone production. For the individual who needs or desires to increase testosterone production beginning a regular and scheduled workout routine should be one of the first orders of business.

Stress and alcohol; we have stress in our life and so we drink to ease the load yet alcohol has been shown to be one of the most damaging things on this earth to testosterone production when consumed on a regular basis; not only does it damage production but it promotes fat gain and destroys muscle tissue. However, responsible alcohol consumption is an easy thing to control whereas stress can be a little tricky. Stress doesn’t simply mean worry or concern; although that is a role we’re more concerned with physical stress, the lack of sleep and rest and physical stress that can be caused by just those things. When our body is in a state of stress we end up releasing larger amounts of stress hormones known as glucocorticoid steroids and if you’re trying to increase testosterone this is going in the wrong direction.
The Bottom Line:

The bottom line is simple; there’s nothing magical about increasing testosterone levels, there’s no secret you haven’t been told, there’s no special workout or hidden secret only the elite know about. If you wish to produce a higher level of testosterone or at least maintain what you already have simply following a healthy lifestyle will do more for you than anything else, in-fact, short of injecting the primary anabolic androgenic steroid testosterone this is pretty much your only worthwhile option. Yes, it is worthwhile and very much so but you need to have understanding. Understand how to maximize your nutrition with your daily life and see your testosterone levels better off than your friends.

Anabolic Steroids: Impotence and Loss of Libido

If there are any side effects associated with steroid use that most individuals would like to avoid, it is that of impotence and loss of libido. While these are common side effects of AAS use, many who suffer from them choose to remain quite, rather than seek help and suffer the perceived embarrassment of admission. This is unfortunate, as this experience is not a mark of male deficiency, but that of a drug-induced hormonal imbalance. There are several potential causes responsible for the appearance of these symptoms, all of which need to be treated in their own way if a speedy recovery is desired. In this article we will cover all the basic causes and cures for diagnosing and treating sexual dysfunction in the steroid user.

The following are the 4 primary causes of sexual dysfunction in AAS users: Personal response to specific steroids, estrogen imbalance, testosterone deficiency, and 5-AR inhibitor use. Let’s look at the first of these, which is personal response. Of all the various steroids available to the BB’r, two in particular seem to cause this problem most frequently. These are nandrolone and trenbolone. Not everyone will respond the same to these drugs when it comes to their effect on sexual function. A number of individuals can take large doses of either of these drugs, sometimes even combined, yet experience no issues at all. Others may run into problems under certain circumstances, such as when their test to nandrolone/trenbolone ratio is off. Others are very sensitive to the effects of these drugs and will have problems no matter what they do, encountering full-blown sexual dysfunction, regardless of dose, within just a few weeks.

Typically, if an individual is prone to experiencing sexual dysfunction from these steroids, such side effects will generally begin to immerge within about 5-6 weeks of initiating use and will continue to present themselves as long as the offending compound(s) are employed. Often, these symptoms will begin to dissipate within 5-10 weeks after discontinuance of the offending compound. Tren ace and NPP are usually quicker to recover from, due to their much shorter active life in the body, while a drug like Deca, which maintains a very long active life in the body, can continue to produce symptoms for a significantly longer period of time (Note: Just because a user may experience issues with one of these drugs, it does not necessarily mean he will have the same problem with another).

When sexual dysfunction is brought on by either nandrolone or trenbolone usage, there are 3 options for treatment. One, the individual can discontinue the offending drug completely and wait for the symptoms to abate. Two, he can manipulate his testosterone to nandrolone/trenbolone ratio and see if this helps correct the issue (For example, the individual may experience sexual dysfunction when administering 400 mg of test and 800 mg of deca, yet a complete cessation of symptoms may take place when reversing that ratio to 800:400, in favor of testosterone). Lastly, if the individual’s symptoms are prolactin related, the addition of an anti-prolactin drug into one’s program, such as Cabergoline or Pramipexole, may alleviate symptoms.

Some individuals wrongly assume that all nandrolone and/or trenbolone induced sexual dysfunction is prolactin related, as these drugs tend to elevate prolactin levels, but this is not the case. In many instances, those who suffer from nandrolone/ trenbolone induced sexual dysfunction find no relief from their symptoms, despite taking large doses of anti-prolactin drugs. Blood work has further confirmed this to be the case, with several of my clients’ personal blood work readings revealing normal to below normal levels of prolactin after treatment with anti-prolactin drugs, only to find that they’re still experiencing the same degree of symptoms as they were prior to treatment. These results are indicative of alternate causes of sexual dysfunction in users of nandrolone/trenbolone, which are likely directly attributed to the drugs themselves and not related metabolites.

Another cause of sexual dysfunction in steroid users is estrogen imbalance; either too little estrogen or too much can bring about the same problems. The use of aromatizable drugs can result in excess estrogen levels, particularly when administered in the absence of anti-aromatase drugs (A.I.’s). It is important to note that just like with nandrolone or trenbolone induced sexual dysfunction, not everyone will have the same response to excess or deficient levels of estrogen. Many individuals can seemingly administer grams of testosterone without making any attempt to manage systematic estrogen and experience no problems whatsoever. Others will not be so fortunate, with testosterone levels even slightly outside the normal physiological range being problematic.

The only surefire way to ensure that estrogen is properly controlled is through physician monitored blood work. Otherwise, one’s best guess is just that…a guess. The goal of the steroid user should be to keep estrogen in a normal male range. Contrary to popular belief, there is no medical evidence that suggests excess estrogen levels results in greater muscle growth in men. Still, estrogen does play several roles in the muscle growth process, both directly and indirectly, so unless future evidence contradicts the current position, maintaining levels within a normal range is considered ideal. Today we are fortunate enough to have several potent, prescription A.I.’s available for use, all of which are quite effective in the management of estrogen levels, regardless of the steroid type or dosage employed.

DHT is an essential male hormone, critical for the development and maintenance of normal male characteristics and physiology, including sexual function. Inadequate levels may precipitate a cascade of negative events, including erectile dysfunction and loss of libido. Under normal circumstances, the body produces its own DHT through converting a portion of freely circulating testosterone into the target hormone. However, since exogenous AAS suppress endogenous testosterone production, they’re also indirectly responsible for suppressing DHT production. Therefore, the inclusion of testosterone into one’s cycle is mandatory if the individual wishes to maintain sufficient DHT levels.

Cycles void of testosterone will usually begin to display the initial signs of sexual dysfunction around week 4 or later, as the body’s negative feedback system will immediately sense a rise in androgen blood levels and react accordingly by decreasing testosterone production. Since the amount of steroid hormone administered during a cycle will elevate one’s androgen blood level well into the supraphysiological range, testosterone production will continue to decrease until it is almost non-existent.

The preferred method of treatment for DHT deficiency is simple…use testosterone. In those who have been running cycles in the absence of this parent hormone and suffered the consequences, its subsequent inclusion will result in a speedy alleviation of symptoms. One does not necessarily have to use supraphysiological doses of testosterone in order to experience normalcy in the bedroom; more moderate doses are usually sufficient.

The last factor we are going to look at involves the use of 5-AR inhibitors. This class of drugs is used to prevent or slow the balding process, but is prone to causing all the same side effects associated with deficient DHT levels from other causes. The likelihood of experiencing sexual dysfunction when using a 5-ARinhibitor is highly dependent on the dosage employed. When deciding whether these drugs are right for you, make sure to weigh all your options before proceeding Often, 5-AR inhibitors can be avoided altogether simply by adjusting one’s cycle design, to incorporate drugs which are not known to cause androgenic alopecia ands by avoiding drugs (or minimizing the dosage) which commonly result in hair loss. The number of potential cycles is massive and one should not automatically dismiss an alternative approach just because it strays from the conventional format. So long as the cycle suits one’s goals and keep the BB’rs health in mind, that is all that matters.

Diagnosing the cause of sexual dysfunction in a BB’r is not always easy, especially when multiple potentially causative factors are present at one time. In cases like this, troubleshooting may be necessary in order to determine the true cause and eliminate it accordingly. There is merit to be found in trying one new PED at a time. By doing so, the individual will know exactly how the new drug is affecting him, without receiving mixed feedback from other new drugs at the same time and having no way of determining which drug is doing what. Sexual dysfunction may be one of the least enjoyable side effects of AAS use, but unlike many other side effects, it is avoidable in every case.
